Default Nail of the day (NOTD)

As some of you know, I have a nice nail polish stash. I put it to good use because I do my own nails. Since I have long deserted gel nails or acrylics and only wear my natural nails, manicures weren't lasting. The nail tech would always say the polish won't last long with natural nails and tried to persuade me to get an overlay but I declined. So I decided to do my own ish lol! I rather pay a few dollars for the polish and have it last than pay for a manicure and have it chipping in a matter of days. Here are a few of my designs. For those who get your nails done or do it yourself, post yours!

Those look cute. I love doing my nails at home. I'm constantly changing them. I am messing around with KISS Nail Artist Kit trying to make something that looks decent. Wish they turned out as good as yours, but I will keep on trying.

I love doing my nails! I usually use a stamper to add designs and I love bright colors...

Thank you! I do mine freehand, I don't use a kit. I do have a stamper though that I got from Ulta for like $3 but it only has 1 design plate with only floral designs. I know Konad has many more design plates, maybe I'll consider trying those but for now freehand is fine with me. Here's the link

Yeah, I use the Konad. I don't have a steady hand so its harder for me to free hand. Do you guys ever look on Wah nails' website? I love their designs and I just ordered the nail art pens fro. Models Own. I think they'll be way easier to use than the kiss products.

Do you ladies have any tips for making polish last longer than a day? My polish is always coming off the day after I do it...i make sure my nails are clean & dry, I make sure each layer of polish is dry,i put on topcoats...but nothing works.

Also, do you really have to use the Konad stamper with the konad polish? that's what I read but sometimes companies just say that...

Do you use a basecoat too? That could help with the chiping too.

Maybe it's the brand you use. I use China Glaze for my base and top coat. I use China Glaze Strong Adhesion base coat and their fast forward top coat. They also have a no-chip top coat that I may try out just for giggles. My polish lasts for a few days, but of course depending on the type of activities I'm involved in it may last less or longer.
