plug in MAC NW45 and look for matches also, you can do the legwork at a beauty supply store like ulta or sephora. you can get an associate, tell them your mac shade and ask for suggestions (sephora will give samples). |

I use that Mac shade you use and iman clay med-deep powder. It can be purchased at target and online at beauty.com or drugstore.com. I like it a lot. Less expensive.

I meant to add a couple of suggestions to start you right: try looking at Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation - look at Cappucino (shade 410) and see if that matches. That is available at Target, Walmart and I am sure other places. Also, for a BS brand, look at Ruby Kisses (I think their liquid foundation is Kiss). Ruby Kisses makes a mineral powder foundation in Golden Honey (I think??? They have a website) which might be a place to start for you. Also, L'oreal has a liquid color matching foundation you can always find on sale - Look at N8 or around there. Maybelline Fit me - check out shade 355 or 350. CoverGirl Queen makes liquid and cream foundations. You would have to see what findation.com recommends for a shade. Black Opal (go to blackopalcosmetics.com and choose the find your shade link - you might be between Hazelnut and Beautiful Bronze. Any of these you find to match you can also add to findation.com to refine your results further. Finding a foundation is really try and fail, because your skin and undertones play a huge role: are you oily or dry? Do you have things that you are trying to hide, like large pores or dark spots? You might need more or less coverage. You might need a cream foundation or liquid or a silicone vs. water base. You have to know your skin well enough to know where to lean. Strangers can't tell you that sight unseen. Last edited by Sagehen; 12-18-2012 at 09:33 PM. |
