Default Face gets more oily during the day HELP!

Hi !!

So I clean my face everyday with either the soap bar of Clinique or 'pores no more cleanser' of dr. Brandt. (I do this in the evening as well) And in the morning my face is clear and smooth and definitely not oily, but as the day goes on it becomes sooooo oily. Like if I swipe over my face with my hand my hand would look as if I just put it in Vaseline oil or something! Am I just supposed to wash my face during the day as well or is there actually a product out there that REALLY helps for the whole day?????

Please somebody give me some tips!

If the cleaner your using on your face dries your face our too much the bodies response it to produce more oil to compensate for possible dryness. I suggest switching to a cream cleanser. Possibly picking up some of the oil absorbing sheets to keep on you.

You can try OCM (google oil cleansing method). It's not a quick fix, but over time it's supposed to adjust your oil levels by not drying your skin which reduces your body's need to produce oil. Also, you may wanna try jojoba oil which is most closely related to sebum, the natural oil produced by your skin, but just a little bit. Personally, I'm using olive oil mixed with sweet almond oil and tea tree EO. I think it's working, slowly but surely.

@ Tiny_Gabby thank you that is exactly what the products were doing! I was always afraid of using more oily products on my skin, but definitely after reading about The Oil Cleansing Method I think I have rethink that! Thanks for that @ cocokiss410!
I have used Tamanu oil in the past for my face. Highly recommended by Dr. Oz! He said that you should put on a thick layer of that, but I used I like that twice a day for about 6 weeks and I started to break out, yet still kept on using it as sometimes they say that happens when your face is trying to adapt to a new product. Sadly it did not get better even after using small amounts. So maybe that just wasn't for me. I will try some of the products you suggested!

If other people have more ideas or comments please share!!

Thanks!

I just saw on YouTube about using turmeric. I did a little preliminary research into it. It's worth looking into. Supposed to be very good at treating acne/breakouts, hyper pigmentation, reduce/prevent fine lines and wrinkles, and fight aging w antioxidants. Hmmm…

a good mask for oily skin with turmeric (the yogurt and honey have antibacterial properties):

Honey Yogurt and Turmeric Mask

Ingredients:

1 cup cold Greek yogurt (or thick natural yogurt)

2 tbsp honey

2 tsp organic turmeric powder

You will also need

A clean mixing bowl and spoon for stirring

A sterilized jar for storing if not used immediately

Method

Combine yogurt, honey and turmeric in the mixing bowl and stir until smooth. Keep in the jar and refrigerate upto a week.

Usage

Wash your face with mild soap, rise and pat dry.

Apply the mask on the face and keep it for 15 minutes.

Rise well with cold water and your regular moisturizer afterward.

I'll have to try this after I get some more honey. Lok

If any of that works, PLEASE let me know!

My face is always shine city before noon! What I do is go to the restroom at work, take a toilet seat cover (HEY, It's Free! ), fold it in half and place on my face. It blots out the oil just like the rice papers (since they're basically made of the same material) and it keeps my makeup in tact. I just find that I do it atleast 2x a day since my face is so oily.
