I just recently purchased Light Switch by Nature's Gate. It has no hydroqunione in it, the lighteners are from natural items. Hopefully I'll see some results. I found it at Marshall's for $9.99, the regular price is $26.49 on the Nature's Gate website. Score!

We've developed a skin brightening serum that is truly brilliant in its ability to normalize skin tone, while helping to visibly soften the appearance of age spots. Our Lemon Skin Brightening Serum for Day and Night is a truly luminous blend of Lemon, Japanese Mandarin, Licorice and Mulberry. Regular use brings forward your skin's radiance, brightness and tone. It's the perfect way to lighten up.

I've used green tea as a toner in the past & I've noticed that it lightened my dark spots somewhat & gave me my face a nice glowy look

I've actually opened the tea bag, added fresh lemon juice, and sugar and use as a face scrub.

Nubian Heritage makes a lemongrass facial soap that is wonderful. I've started alternating it with my African black soap and I love it. I also do a mixture of honey and lemon juice for twenty minutes each night. I tried lemon juice alone but that burned my crazy sensitive skin. This is in addition to the other stuff I posted earlier in this thread.

Dark spots on the face are the result of local hyperpigmentation. Black spots is a very disturbing one's appearance. Take the pulp of aloe vera and keep it out for 5 min and then add few drops of lemon, apply of face, gives a good result.

I have had good results with mandelic acid. It's also good to use sunscreen, though I'm really bad about this.

Are we talking about dark spots or would this discussion apply to dark under eyes too. I've been trying to get rid of mine for years.
