Default Count me in!

Sorry I am late, but I will start today.

my regime (2x per day)
cleanse: Chagrin Valley Neem/Tea Tree soap bar
tone: fresh lemon juice
moisturize: aloe vera gel

* I also plan to buy the CV Rhassoul Clay soap bar and exofilate once per week. I will also implement my raw honey and lemon facial.
I will keep everyone posted on my results.

I read Arizona sunblock is supposed to be great. I use Kiss My Face sunblocks, though.

Arizona makes an oil. One of the few, but if you want a specific essential oil for sun protection, I'll ask around. Don't know of any straightway.

Default Mask Day for me!!

I slathered Alpha Hydrox 10% glycolic acid all over my face and layered Origins Charcoal mask on top. Leaving it on for 15 minutes. Detox, purify, exfoliate.

I decided to try an actual cleanser, in an effort to get rid of my acne.
I got Desert Essence Face wash with tea tree oil and awphui (for oily skin)...
That, with the Tamanu oil I've been using, has REALLY dried my skin out.

I mean, my skin literally hasn't been this dry in years. My skin is flaky/peeling, and just looks dull.
I'd like to keep using the face wash, to see if it works, but I just can't take the dryness. Switching back to Chagrin Valley soaps.

As for the Tamanu oil- it really dries my skin out, but I definitely recommend it. I've noticed a huge difference in my skin since I've been using it. My mom even asked for some, because she noticed my skin looked great.
It didn't work miracles over night, but after a few days it shrunk my blemishes and made my skin less red. I just have to make sure I use a little, with a couple extra drops of my usual oil.

I think I need to change up my regimen. I've been using black soap as my cleanser, green tea as my toner, & shea butter as my moisturizer. The shea butter & the tea have been great, & I've definitely noticed that my skin tone is more even & smooth because of them. However, the black soap doesn't seem to be working. Or maybe its the brand I purchased because my sister also uses black soap & her skin looks better than mine. I'm still experiencing some breakouts & the soap dries my skin.
