Errrr?!?!? Where have I been? You took your locs out? When? Why? How long did it take? Did you jut untangle them?

I'm considering shaving my head and having loose hair again. I don't feel like my hair is ever clean enough. I have a dry scalp issue that WON'T go away so I get crud at the roots where my loc starts and everytime it grows I feel the crud just gets matted into the core of each strand. I can't get rid of my dry scalp issue and my pregnancy made it worse! I've even tries neem oil and it only made me funky to be around. Atleast with loose hair I can wash and ensure my hair is squeaky clean and no trapped flakes and I can wash as often as I want. I didn't think I'd has this problem w/sisterlocks but I do.

Hey kinky, yup I had them out for 2months now, it took 3 days w/8 hands in my head at once! I took them out b/c the person who inspired me to get them is no longer in my life & didnt want tht negative attachment/reminder so this time its all me I used water & conditioner w/a good slip and combed those babies right on out...it wasnt bad at the ends but closer to the roots many of them were mattec so it was crazy...thank God my hair didnt break though!

Have you tried moisturizing or deep conditioning to tackle your dry scalp issue?....girl this loose hair is no joke.lol...it has me running bck to my locs.lol...its much maintenance! Hows the baby doing?

Oh, they are coming along quite well - they've grown a lot in the past 4 months, that's for sure. She LOVES them more and more - she even tries to style them herself, which I allow her to do. She can't wait to see my baby brother (her 24 year old uncle) because he also has locs and she wants to "style" them ... Gotta love it!
