Old pic, but I so can't wait to get back to this. I scrubbed a little too much during my wash this week so retwisting was a pain in the butt. My scalp thanked me though lol.

Ahhh my friend HAD the cutest baby locs ever . She was so small and cute so they fit her . And she would dye them all different colors , blonde , brown , red , jet black . Then she shaved one sidd with a design and flipped her locs on the other side.....

Thank you! My baby girl is on a tee-ball All-Star team (yes, tee-ball LOL) and they had practice last night. She's just one of two Black children on the team. The team mom mentioned that she wanted to make all the girls ponytail holders with ribbons in team colors with each player's name and jersey #.  She CLEARLY has not had any dealing with many Black children who are natural, certainly not ones with locs. (LOL) It was cute, I said: Krysse, I think a headband would be SUPER cute for Brya & Jace. She looked at the girls and I could see her wheels turning ... then she said: Hmm, well, okay, I could probably do that.  I mean, if she wants to make my baby a ponytail holder with ribbons, cool, but she'd be the only one not wearing it ... Where is it going to go?! Baby girl is confident and comfy with her hair ... she couldn't care less about the length and texture of her teammates' hair, but I don't want her to feel left out if she doesn't have some sort of headpiece, too. You know? I may end up buying her a little something. It can't be to bulky because she'll need to be able to get her helmet off and on without much delay. *Shrug* I think Krysse had an "aha" moment yesterday ...  ~NeeC1
