Loving the process and loving my hair

The first picture is my locs at 5 months and the second picture is my locs at 10 months

My baby girl is just over 5 1/2 months in ... she's got 67 locs and they are growing like crazy. I've gotten better at retwisting/maintaining them ... I grew sick of paying someone else to do them for me! I need to find some loc jewelry or something because she wants me to put beads in her hair ... she's 6 so she doesn't quite get the concept, but I'll add a *few* beads to make her happy!

Awww thank you! I wish I could've posted better pics, but hey ... She was excited to know I was going to post her pics on CN. (LOL) I'm really thinking about taking the leap into locs next year (around March). Sadly, I'm not sure I'd be able to maintain my own. (LOL) So, I'm going to train my oldest on how to retwist, so when she's on punishment, instead of going to her room, she can retwist our locs! Hey ... there's a lesson to be learned at every opportunity!
