Default Undo/ Redo locs

Hi all,

I started my fiancé's locs a year ago. He has what I would classify as type 3b/c hair. It took a lot for it to loc and even now his new growth annoys me because it's so curly and makes his hair look fuzzy. Anyway, it took a long time for the back to loc and I don't know what happened but the bottom quarter of his head has thicker locs and I can't see his parts at all! The rest of his head has thinner locs and they are neatly parted. Is there a way for me to correct the back or is the damage already done?

Thanks

I have that problem ! its so annoying ! my hair looks so fuzzy because my hair is so curly. My locs in the back are slighlty bigger because of the texture. I m not sure what to do however eithet : (

I know that more mature locs tend to be more thicker then ones that have more maturing to do.. could that we the case with the hubby and @ksulley ?? . I know you said to took longer for the back of his hair to loc but they may have also matured faster over time..take a loc from the back and the front and test the density of each..

So does that mean they will forever be like that? Since they are matured I can't make them smaller?

Since it has only been a year they shouldn't be too hard to comb out. It will take time though. I had locs for three years and combed them all out. There's other people on youtube who had them for twice, three times, and one woman four times as long as I did and they combed theirs out as well. Some soak the loc with water and conditioner and then comb with a small toothed comb. I mostly just used water and sometimes nothing at all. Just go slow and be patient and gentle so that the only hair lost is the shed hair within the loc and not any hair actually still attached to his head.

Thanks! So now I have have a follow up question. While we were experimenting I latch hooked his a few times. Since they aren't palm roll or twist only do we still have a shot at combing them out?
