Just got out of a meeting with my Supervisor.....got me a nice raise and a bonus! God is good!!!!

Someone broke into my car a few hours ago.

Why is this good news?
I accidentally forgot to lock the doors so they didn't have to break anything to get in, I never leave anything of value in the car so they got NOTHING, and all the did was take my workout clothes out the bag and throw them on the ground. I suffered NO LOSS! cheers

God is good!!! This could have been a bad situation.

I just got my grade back for my mid term I made a 88!!!

Good for you Curly. I felt the same way when I got my third test grade in Statistics. That level of math is brutal but it showed me that I just have to persevere through my challenges and not give up.

Girl I thought for sure I was not going to pass thst test i knew the material just was not sure of myself i need to stop doing that to myself!

I'm one of 3 masters students in the entire psychology department who was chosen to attend an honors ceremony, where I will be hooded by the dean and shake hands with the school president. All my accomplishments will be read off during the ceremony. It's a huge honor Smile

Too bad my family is flying in a day after the ceremony (they already booked their tickets). But I feel great, because I worked my butt off over the past two years.

I was in the May issue of Essence magazine! Page 34 with Jill Scott on the cover! It was an awesome feeling having my thought towards natural hair being put into a popular magizine...

I'm going to be co-producing and directing a mini-documentary about a communituy garden for my job!! It's funny becuase it was just a random idea I had and now it's actually coming to life.
