The very beginning Row 2 at the dc in 3rd chain of turning chain 5.
I'm trying to figure out if I'm turning wrong, because it I'm not ending up back to where I can do that.

Re: Crochet Anyone???
ok sorry I didn't chime in, let me check the pattern. Ok at the end of the 1st row you need to chain 5 and turn. After you do your Double crochets in 4 stitches, chain 2 and you are back to the original chain 5. In that chain count 3 stiches and do a double crochet in that stitch. Then you repeat this row, starting with the chaiin 5. I HTH. You know I am going to get some string. I am so doing this! Thanks for sharing.
On a different note, here is my latest creation

Okay I'm going to have to go back to that. I couldn't figure it out and had to get started on something for my aunt. I do plan on hitting up AC Moore (they have a sale on yarn today) and maybe Joann's I think I have a 40% off coupon.
I like that pick, so cute.
These is FRED. Little one likes to shake him and throw him (I put a bell inside).

This is how far I'm gotten in a wrap for my aunt. I'll need to get more yarn and I'm debating if I'll line the "bad side" (if I have time and go and buy fabric)

Hopefully you can see the patten here.

This is the bad side.
And I'm starting to try a dollie

Well it doesn't show the pattern on both sides. So it's kind of like the "wrong" side of fabric.

Re: Crochet Anyone???
This is a cowl I am working on. I actually finished it yesterday but it looked a lil meager so I am adding rows.
This is White cotton with Silver thread and I am using my size N hook by boyle.

I like.
I got bored with my aunt's wrap so I moved on to a bag, but I still have to finish it by Saturday. The way I'm feeling I don't know if I'll make it to the party.

Aw that is too cute! My plan was to make a hat for a gift for a baby shower I was supposed to attend on Sunday. But I didn't end up going
I am not sure if I still want to do it since spring is almost here.

You know the little ones need there heads covered when they're little so I don't think it would hurt. The yarn I used is light-weight also.

Re: Crochet Anyone???
The baby hat is really cute! I like those earrings too Sweet!
I finally made it over to the crochet thread! I haven't crocheted in a minute, but here are some of the things I've made:
This is a lapghan I made my grandfather. His children bought him a real Cadillac of a recliner for his birthday and I made him this lapghan to go with it. He loved it! He made me cry when he thanked me for it b/c he said it meant a lot b/c he felt that I was giving him a part of me b/c I took hours out of my life to make it for him. He's so sweet and he totally deserved it.
My mother asked for one in a mauve color. I started it, but she passed before I could finish. I think I may go ahead and finish it and give it to my sister.

This is an octopus I made just to see if I could do it. I showed it to my father and he wanted it for some reason, so I let him have it. It's sitting on his dresser. Whatever makes him happy. LOL

A penguin I made for my friends son:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Another penguin. He was a real pain to make and he was my first stuffed animal to crochet.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
A bunny. Actually, I think this bunny was my first stuffed animal and the fuzzy penguin was my second:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Lastly, my mom used to love the crocheted dishcloths. My sister likes them too and I'm supposed to be making her some more, but I'm a slacker. lol A while ago, I made a buch of these in different colors:

Looking at all of the creations in this thread has really made me want to pick up my crochet hooks again. Maybe I'll finally get my sister's cloths done. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
