I bought some shea oil off eBay. That would probably work best. If I am not mistaken shea butter can be liquid if warm but is sold at room temp.

If using 100% Shea that is solid...melt it and mix it in something like olive oil....just as you would a shea mix that softens it...just add more oil than shea until its liquid and it will stay that way. May have to shake it every use though. Otherwise you can buy shea 100% oil...but its very expensive.

I make a shea butter spray i suppose.....

I dont know exact measurements of what i use i keep meaning to write them down but i always forget

I mix
-Safflower Oil
-Shea Butter
-Avocado Oil
-Grapeseed Oil
-Vit E....
-and whatever essential oil smell im going for at the time....

a light spritz when i take my hair out my twist and im shinny but not greasy....i tried it before with EVOO but that was too heavy for my hair....the Safflower oil is pretty light so i guess you can say thats my base or carrier oil

As I Am Naturally has thee perfecto Shea Butter Spray called COCOSHEA SPRAY and I LOVE it. But its sooooo expensive. $15 for a 4oz? I don't think so! Bought it when they first came out in stores and never bought again.

I would love to know how to make my own as well. I still have the bottle and think will just melt down my already made Shea Butter Mix and just put in the bottle. My hair loves my mix!
