I found a good recipe this weekend for a protein deep conditioner. I got it from Naptural85. It was greek yogurt, ACV, and lavendar oil. My hair seemed to enjoy it, but it was the first time I used it. I haven't seen much breakage since using it though!!!

I just tried using gelatin for my protien treatment.

I did half a Knox pack in half a cup of water. Mixed it together then added a teaspoon of vitamin e along with lavendar and rosemary eo. But... I then mixed half of that into a small thing of baby food bananas.

I let it sit on my hair for over an hour.

Default Avocado DC

Has anyone tried using avocado. I looked at a couple of youtube tutorials and made a mix with one avocado, coconut milk. honey and olive oil. I've used it once, applied to dirty hair and let sit for 3hrs, rinsed with diluted shampoo, then conditioned. Way less breakage than usual but I want to try it for a month before casting my final vote. I stored the leftover in the freezer.

I use it as a dc/pt after my mud wash. I put a plastic shopping bag on my head and wrap with a towel for up to two hours then rinse with luke warm water. Then I close my cuticles with cold acv rinse. My hair was soft with no knots afterwards. I have thin strands with thin density so my hair LUVS protien.

Oh I use vitamin e because I read it gives slip.
