I made a simple face mask last night. Smelled awesome and made my face feel super good. 1tblsp organic cocoa powder and 1tblsp sour cream. This made enough for 2 possible 3 applications.

I mixed some amla and benonite clay for a scrubby face mask. I was reading about amla and remembered it could be used for more then just hair. I don't know if there are any benefits other than my face feels nice. I like it and will do it again.

OAN: my sister asked me why so many of my "beauty" treatments look like poop! ROFLOL

Made a honey & cinnamon mask as well as a sugar scrub. I bought raw honey for the first time a couple weeks ago. I've always hated honey but oh mah gawd this stuff is delicious. I originally bought it for hair mixes but I've been cooking with it too so it's almost gone lol. I first used it in my dc.

Cinnamon? Doesn't irritate your face?

Added some clay to my deodorant concoction and it came out too hard :-(. It would be great in summer though. I think I'll omit it. I'm using illipe to harden and I think that's enough. I want people to be able to carry it around incase a freshening up is needed mid day. Any packaging suggestions so it won't melt all over their bag or car when warm? I want to do metal tins and avoid plastic.

The specialty bottle site has a lot of tin and aluminun containers. The twist containers would probably be the best because they would be less likely to come open in a purse. You could make the deodorant in small wafers that come in a bigger container and add a small lipbalm size container for them to go into for the purse. That way, the whole bar is not constantly touching a person's skin. You could sell refills in a bag to conserve.

This and this for the initial purchase. Edit: the picture of the tin is extra large. Its really only a 1.5 inches wide and the jar is 4 ounces.

There's so many body butter recipes out there that I'm overwhelmed. Bake shop butters is too thick for me. I need something between bake shop butters and the body shop. Any suggestions for recipes? Here's what I have: cocoa butter, shea butter, olive coconut and sweet almond oil, beeswax, and lavender essential oil. Oh and crisco. :-)
