Once I finish this batch, which may take some months, lol, I'm gonna try an all mango butter mix. It's seems to be a lot lighter than the shea butter.

I get my Shea butter from Coastal Scents and my Mango Butter from Camden Grey! They have high quality products and they are reputable! I've found the same companies on EBay and Amazon selling the same amount and quality of butters for two totally different prices. Halal Everyday is notorious for this. They use different seller names for the same company.

Combined parts of lots of different recipes to get mine...
Shea butter
Jojoba oil
Olive oil
Drop of honey

I just heated up the she's butter for like 20 seconds, just long enough to make it a little soft, NOT liquid and mashed it together with a plastic fork! So far so good

I finally got it together and made my first mix and I am so pleased. I'm mad I didn't try this sooner. I love it and so does my hair so far. My mix consists of:

Shea butter
Mango butter
Jojoba oil
Coconut oil

I'm so glad you're having a good experience with it! It's going to be a while before I make another batch, the one is going to last a while.

I made a mix also using

Shea butter (ivory)
Olive oil (ev)
Tea tree oil
Coconut oil

I mixed them all together using my mixer until it was smooth. I use my mix in my hair and my 3 year old daughters hair and it makes it so soft and manageable. I use it as a moisturizer after shampooing.

I made some just yesterday with raw Shea butter, JBCO, grapeseed oil, coconut oil, and I also add a little leave in conditioner to the mix...I use my mixer to "whip it up". It works great, and my hair loves it! But boy does raw Shea butter stink!! Lol... I was hoping the scent of the leave in would cut the "organic-ness".. But, uh, no!! Lol.. I'm around here smelling organic than a mug!!...but moisturized!!! Lol
