Thank you so much for resounding! I am gonna go ahead and order the powder to make my own mix. If it doesn't come out right, I'd rather it be my fault then to be mad I wasted my money on somebody elses mess. :-)

I just mix my henna with apple juice, let it sit for the recommended amount of time for dye release, then apply it to your hair (with gloves) – nothing too fancy. HTH!

Yeah girl, I'm kinda nervous about it....mostly because I don't wanna lose what little curl I have. But at least it's not damaging to my hair. If I can put a drugstore relaxer in my hair then this will be nothing lol!:-)

Can you lighten your hair after henna, to make the red effects more prominent?

Conditioning Balm by Matrix, Tresemme, or any conditioner you like...the thicker the better.

The Henna that I bought says to mix with water and to only leave it on for 30 mins. Is this normal? I've never used henna before so when I saw that I was like let me slow my roll before I mess up something. Does henna normally say mix with water? When I make the mix do I mix with green tea and conditioner with it? This is overwhelming. When I get home, Ill post a pic of the henna I bought.

I have never had any henna that is ready in 30 minutes.

Mixing with warm water is okay.

What kind/brand is henna is that?
