I'm 18 and been transitioning for 6months now and well I have my good and bad days. Luckily I haven't had any problem with detanling. I love the thickness and colour of my hair. The one thing I really hate about my hair is that I have some gray hair at the center of my hair. I think I got my first strand at 15 and at first I thought there would be 2-3 strand only but it seems to be increasing. I've tried to get used to it and just accept it, but then sometimes I become very self conscious especially at school.
Nobody has really said anything about it at school. It's mostly friends and family friends, I've got some compliments about it but ofc I've gotten some ''ooh you have gray hair, wow they are a lot'' like I don't already know that and some like ''ooh you have gray hair you are getting old'' this is a joke- I know this is stupid but I can't help but feel self conscious. I want to dye my hair wanted to know how to mix Henna and Amla powder to get auburn color? Do I use them separately or mix? and also when you use Henna does it color your nails? I know they say there is no prevention or cure for graying, but any tricks or tips would be appreciated? Thanks

go to www.mehandi.com or hennaforhair.com (i think), it will tell you which henna to buy to cover grey specifically. know that the grey portion will pick up alot more color than the rest of your hair, so it will look like a red highlight.
oh and check out Shelli on Hairscapades.com, she uses henna and amla to cover her grey and hers looks great, she spells out her routine. i dont know much about amla sorry, ive only used it once |
