So I have been thinking about trying henna for a few weeks. I bought all the ingrdients, including two 100g boxes of Jamila henna powder. I have shorter hair (maybe 5 1/2 inches) and I'm not sure I'll need all two boxes. I'm still going to mix both boxes since I'd rather have too much than not enough to cover my whole head. If I have some left over, can I save it? Does it expire, or loose quality? Is there a particular way I should store it? I just hate wasting things (specially things I paid money for
). Any tips would be great.

Put the leftovers in the freezer. I usually put it in one freezer bag, smooch it flat making sure to get as much air out of the bag. Let it freeze then roll it up and put it in another freezer bag. I like to make sure it doesn't suck up any freezer smells or leach any smells to the food. Smooshing it flat means when I want some it comes out of the bag easy and defrosts fast.

Does air reduce the quality of the paste as it sits in the freezer, or is that only to get it to thaw it faster later?
