Is henna safe while pregnant?

Hi I am new here! I have been lurking around for a while and this seems like a great supportive community. I was looking to take the henna plunge, but I am 10 weeks pregnant. Does anyone know if it is safe to henna hair while pregnant?

Hey!! I'm nursing so on a website called Revive UK, they said henna is safe during pregnancy however Cassia is not during pregnancy or breastfeeding:)

Henna is a vegetable dye, so is generally considered to be safe. I would check with your doctor to be on the safe side though.
