I an just now getting over something just like that, but with fever. The doc said it sounds like a virus. Imagine feeling like that while taking care of a three year old, six year old, and a three week old breastfeeding. My parents are pitching in to help me out though.

Thanks! Becoming a mom is truly a life changing thing. I get so excited looking at my belly jump and move!

Yay and Congrats to all the women who have newly joined the group!!

@Jariathsmom, I am sure God will heal that up in no time. Just one of those motherhood things we will have to go through I guess.

At first I was thinking that, but not any more. My fever is gone, buddy aches getting better, coughing up mucous, and my breast aren't tender or anything like that. I actually feel a lot better today, just hoarse with a sore throat. But it was definitely on my list of possibilities.

OAN.... before my son, I had never changed a boys pamper before. He is now the weeks old, and today I was told to make sure I pull back his left o over fore skin and clean that area to make sure it doesn't get infected. WTH, what else don't I know!!!! I think i'mcalling the doc tomorrow to make sure this is true
And to find out why no one told me this.

I actually read somewhere on one of the discharge pamphlets they gave me not to pull it back if he's uncircumcised. But DO make sure you point it downwards when you diaper him. My little monkey thinks it's funny to pee every time I pull his diaper off.

Ooh..ok...he is circumcised. The only pamphlets they gave me were all about taking care of me. The nurse only said to make sure I put Vaseline on it after diaper changes. I hope I haven't scared him for life..lol

lol. He won't remember a thing. I'm pretty sure you've done nothing wrong. My nurses didn't tell me anything at all. I didn't even know I was supposed to clean his umbilical cord with alcohol until a week later. Vaseline is all I saw my BFF put on her son.
