lol. That's funny because my granddad just retired from the county not even a year ago. You're right though, Hoover's police does do a bit much. I just chose Hoover because I wanted somewhere that would have a good influence on my son. I grew up in Adamsville and it's not bad but it's too quiet. Homewood was the next best thing and then a friend told me that it had gotten bad over the years so Hoover was the only choice left. I don't even go near Fairfield/Ensley/Bessemer.

Now the one thing I miss about the Homewood/Hoover area is the access to everything. You are literally minutes away from dining, movies, shopping, even the comedy club. Girl now, we have to plan a trip to go out there, no joke!! I can't just be taking that 35-40min drive out there for nothing

Hi ladies I am not due until 9-5-12 so I am 35 weeks 2 days. I got into a fender bender yesterday and started contracting. I am now dilated 5 cm and on bed rest at home. I was released from the hospital this afternoon and I am home trying to stay off my feet which is nearly impossible since I have 3 little ones and no family here. Has anyone delivered at or around 35 weeks? If so were there any complications. Just curious. Please say a little prayer for me and my little Hannah. Thank you!

I haven't but I was a premie (born about 8 weeks early) and I'm fine. I also had a friend deliver her baby girl about six weeks early about a year and a half ago and she is doing just fine. A little small for her age, but developing as normal! Praying for you and baby Hannah!
