A six pack ( flat stomach ) is made in the kitchen ask and body builder !! 1) eat right !! Lots of veggies .. Then more veggies and fruits ! Lean sources of protein 2) have 5-6 small small meal a day ! Or eat every other time to baby eats !! Except during the night !! 3 ) water water water. Helps the skin !! and the healing processes and milk production !! 4 ) do plank and balance poses !! Yoga journal.com ! Wait for your dr to give you the ok for exercise especially crunches and other abdominal work doing them to early will cause more trouble and prevent healing !! HTH Miss J |

I have one baby and she is now 15 months old. My abs were so weak after giving birth. But now I have been able to get them strong again. As the other posters said, planks are great, bicycle crunches and good old crunches. You also must keep a healthy diet along with working out.

Well you need to wait a while. It's only been two months. I know exactly what you are talking about and it will go down. My friend had the same thing, and it went away in about 4-5 months. Just keep eating healthy and walk with your baby your stomach will go down.... Things are still healing inside your stomach causing it to pooch.

It takes you 6 weeks to recovery from delivery and 16 months post pregnancy. Be careful ladies, I tell my clients this every single day. Take it easy. You shouldn't be doing anything but eating, resting, breast feeding (if u are nursing), and taking care of baby for first 6 weeks. Then start a lite workout regimen.
