As long as you introduce a single food at a time he should be fine. That's how you look out for allergies. You can start with sims stuff that isn't in a jar until he's ready for it- avocado, banana, sweet potato. Just mash them and thin them out with breast milk or water. I think texture is the biggest difference between the stages.

Has he been eating? It's so funny to watch then taste something for the first time!

I get nervous because I remember my cousin nursing when we were like 5 years old. We would be playing in one room then she would say she'll be right back and go get her mom for boob.

This will be my third time answering this.

He has been TASTING solids. I don't give him a serving. Like I'll put it on my finger and give it to him. That's about it and the only reason I do that is because he stares soooo intensely at my food whenever I have a plate like he's ready for solids so I let him taste it whenever I have soft foods. So far the only thing he hasn't frowned at is mashed potatoes.

Oh wow. Didn't mean to upset you. I don't get to read through all the posts anymore so I obviously missed you being asked before. My bad

I don't read through all the posts either & was about to say the same as Kiki. We didn't go by "stages" & skipped some. Even if he was just "tasting". I didn't see a reason in her post to get rude -_-. I didn't take it the wrong way Kiki

Noooo! I wasn't being rude with her. I was saying that because I'd written it three times and I KNOW I pressed send but the app would post my response. Nothing towards Kiki. She has been such a huge help to me. Sorry if you guys took it that way. I'm so embarrassed now.

lmao don't be embarrassed! I hate the internet sometimes because you can't hear tone or see facial expressions! It read off to me like you had already posted it & we missed it. So I was thinking "dang harsh" lol I was also thinking "I wondered if she had a bad day she's never rude!"

Don't be embarrassed! I felt really badly about the thought that I'd offended you so I jumped and responded. In retrospect I should have sent you a PM. I'm so sorry I didn't. I'm so glad we are all still a happy little family here. I happened to have the worst two days I've had in a long time. I NEED you guys. How sad is that? Lol!
