It's to clarify the hair from product build up. It also restores the hair ph balance.

I Just put a few ounces of acv and fill my bottle with water.

I use it as a prepoo. Without it, my scalp would still be dirty after a cowash.

I heard if people using it as a leave in, too. Adds shine to your hair.
