My shake mix: I switch it up here and there.

1 egg
1 or 2 tablespoons of raw wheat germ
1 tablespoon of raw wheat germ oil
1 to 3/4 of a glass of very vanilla silk soy milk

I always add pvanilla protein powder

Sometimes Nestle quick, hot chocolate mix, vanilla essence or honey for taste.

Lately i've also been adding 1-2 tablesppons of organic aloe vera gel (from GNC)

That's it!

Oh, my goodness -- haven't checked this thread in a while.

Glad to see everyone's getting so much benefit from it. I wasn't getting as much growth so I stopped for two weeks to see if that made any difference -- I am going back to it starting next Monday.

I truly credit this shake with my serious hair growth.

I am sooo blown away with so much information I have been gathering for the last three weeks....I am in my early stages of transitioning and I am like in heaven! I will definitely try the Hair Growth Shake and my husband will think I am crazy, last week, I purchased over $100 worth of hair products to help me with this journey, now with the shake that will just take him over the ledge!

Thanks ladies! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Drinking raw egg and milk with Guiness stout, or raw egg with orange juice, or raw egg with milk and oats, is very common in west indian culture. I grew up drinking this as a kid as a breakfast drink in the morning. They would sometimes sweeten it with condense milk, or honey. I didn't think about it for this benefits, it was just a normal punch that I make even up to today on occasion. These is given to both children and adults to drink as this is a healthy drink to give energy to kids before they go to school, but instead of not eating anything else we still would have food to go along with it.

P.S don't know if this makes a diffrence, but with the egg, we always removed the eye from the egg, and sometimes add (Bitters, like Angustora) or lime zest to cut the raw taste.

Okay so this is my second day of drinking the cocktail. It's actually not as bad as I expected it to be. I'm sticking to the original formula:

1 raw egg
3/4 cup of milk
1 tbsp wheat germ oil
2 tbsp wheat germ

But instead of fruit I use some Nisquik strawberry syrup! All in all it just tastes like strawberry milk, I really enjoy it.

Hey Ladies,

So I have been drinking the shake now for the past 3 wks and I can say that I have seen a number of benefits. Within the first week my skin was brighter and my nails were growing faster. I can say that my hair has grown maybe close to a half an inch or more in that period of time as well. I don't feel as tired anymore throughout the day and I've actually lost a little weight (probably due to the extra energy I have now).

My mix is as follows:

9oz of Vanilla SilkSoy Milk
1 Egg
1 Scoop of Chocolate Protein Powder
1 tbsp Wheat Germ Oil
2 tbsp Raw Wheat Germ
Milled Flaxseed
Half Banana
3 Fresh Strawberries.

It taste great to me and is a good substitute for breakfast. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I was thinking about bumping it to a full glass of milk instead of 3/4 cup! I think the added calcium would be beneficial. I've noticed a change in my energy level as well, I am able to sleep at night again, and my skin is simply glowing!

Oh I love this thread. I've been looking for a way to gradually get alternative milks into my diet and this just might be my jumping point.

I know you can buy pasteurized eggs if that makes anyone feel better.

I have been eating less than 2 hours after the shake and ... i still see significant growth. Not sure what effects eating has on the growth results. Anyone else not doing this by the book? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I know I'm kinda late but I started reading about this and ended up checking out the thread on LHCF. After 10 pages, I was pretty much convinced that this would work for me. I first wanted the benefit of faster growing hair but now I'm also hoping for healthy skin and a stronger immune system. I suffer from psoriasis and would like to see an improvement in my skin before summer. There's a lot of info out there that supports the practice of consuming raw eggs for health so I'm not too worried about salmonella. It looks like taking probiotics every 2 hours helps to get rid of it in as little as 24 hours for someone who isn't elderly, pregnant, pre-adolescent or suffering from a serious illness. So...I'm 2 days in...fingers crossed

My mix:
1 (Natural; cage free) egg
2 tbsp Wheat Germ
3/4 C Vanilla Soy Milk or juice
3 or 4 Frozen Strawberries (taste)
1/2 banana (taste)

I think I might try this not just for the hair growth but the energy factor will be greatly needed with my 5yr old and 6mo old.

I haven't used the wheat germ oil because I can't find any. I found some online but I'm not sure about it. Does anyone know what the benefits of the wheat germ oil is?

this is what I put in my shake

1 egg (organic most time but I ran out and have been using regular eggs)
2tbsp wheat germ
1tbsp flax seed meal
3 frozen strawberries
3/4 cup whole milk
1 banana

It actually taste really good. I think I will try it with the almond milk but my usual grocery store didn't have any when I was looking for it (don't know whats up with that I thought every store had it???)
