Tabby we went to this place called Brasas Rotisseire in Waldorf, MD where I live.Drinks and appetizers were $5 for happy hour.I had an acai berry mojito and it was delicious.We shared appetizers which included wings,, empanadas, chips & guac, and calamarie.It was fun! I got to meet one of her other friends and she and I hit it off.When my friend went to use the bathroom she asked me about transitioning to natural.She said she loved my hair (I had it pinned to the side in a puff of curls) and wish she could wear it natural.We talked about the challenge and benefits of transitioning.I could tell she was considering it.All and all a good time was had by all!!

Seeing the article on the CN main page has got me thinking about how much I hate wrapping my hair up at night. I just feel like wrapping/twisting/braiding/tying up my hair at night is a pain in the butt. I can't tell you how many times I've been dirt ass tired and as much as I've wanted to hit my pillow I had to wrap my hair up so I don't look a hot ass mess in the morning, it's annoying. One of my white co workers asked me yesterday what I do with my hair at night, I currently have it in braids so I told her that I put it in two chunky braids and tied it down with a scarf. She seemed surprised that I have to do so much when all she does is put her hair in a high bun.

I hate doing my hair at night. I know it's better for my hair, and will help it look better in the morning, but I HATE it. I need to get into the habit of doing it.
It's just that it seems like there's so much to do :/ gotta wash my body, do all of my face stuff, AND do something to my hair?

Lol at hair condom. What really pisses me off is when my scarf has the AUDACITY to slip off in the middle of the night and of course I wake up just as it does. So now I'm trying to tie this ish up in a way that makes sense to someone who is 99% unconscious ugh!
