Default Is my DC working?

How do you know when your deep conditioner is working? I know people say if your hair feels moisturized after but I don't think my hair has ever felt moisturized after anything. It always feels the same.

You know your DC is working short term when your hair is soft and moisturized. If your DC has some protein then your hair will be stronger and less prone to breakage and/or hair fall. In the long term your DC will enhance your hair texture bringing out moisture, sheen, and softness. It will add to your hair length retention used in conjunction with healthy hair practices.

Hmm, that's what I use as well as Shea Moisture deep treatment masque and Beautiful Textures rapid repair deep conditioner but I always go back to Aussie 3. I also agree with what Raven said.

If you're not seeing results then you might either need to leave your treatment in longer or try a more potent treatment. Now I'm going to use an example not saying you need to do it too, but just to illustrate a point. I used to use the Pantene Relaxed and Natural treatment a long while ago. I was still shedding more hair then usual. Then, I kept experimenting until I began using Shea Moisture Anti Breakage Masque. The excess shedding stopped and I noticed more length retention as well as stronger hair strands.
