Default What do you use to pull your hair back?

Currently I'm using a black shoe string to hold my hair in a poof. I know that its made out of cotton so its pulling moisture away from my hair. What do you all use to hold your hair back into a poof or just as a head band?

I use an elastic head band and at the back I pull it as tight as necessary to get my puff the size I want it and then just hair pin it down

I use a knee high. I cut the top elastic part off and use that for ponytails. The long part I use for puffs.

I realized that the skinnier the headband the better. At first I was using the wider ones, but I could barely make it an hour. I tried with a skinnier headband and I can go all day.

Scrunchies. I don't care if they are "80's" or out of style . They are better for your hair. And I was tired of breaking hair bands. Each day they'd stretch and stretch, and by the end of the week they would break or be too stretched and malformed to use.

I've been using a bra strap. The ones you get with specialty bras that you can take on and off. I can make by poof as big or as small as I want just by adjusting the strap. It works great.

I use a knee-hi or very thin goody headbands. I cannot use the thicker headbands because they give me a terrible headache. I use the thin ones for a looser look and knee-hi when I want a sleeker look.
