I call that impossible. A relaxer chemically alters your hair. Things might loosen your curls, but permanently straightening it ....nah.

+1 I've heard of that but it's a form of textlating.
Add oils and yogurt to a relaxer to make it weaker and loosen your curl pattern

I've also heard of the yogurt and lime mixture. It'll loosen curls but not full blown relaxing.

Basically its not natural. Its still chemicals just weaker version. If you dont really mind or your not all into the fully natural no relaxer thing you should be fine. Maybe consult with a pro stylist first. Personally I dont want any undercover relaxer and im scared to go to a salon and they try that on me

I did it once. It does not permanently loosen your curl pattern. Of course it does when the product is applied because your curls are always looser with any kind of product in it that's liquid or water based. But when rinsed out and dried, your hair does not change. Like someone else said, you need some type of chemical or lye to loosen your curls permanently.

Well, I have never done it on my hair. However, I am gonna definitely ask it to my hair stylist to know that if it can be done or not.
