I'm so discouraged I had an appointment this morning at my local African braiding salon. After sitting there for 45 minutes before they got to me, they tell me all the pics I show them are NOT Afro puffy twists/Havana twists but senegalese. They said we are calling them the wrong name. They say oh we can do it but it will be $200 because the Naffy hair is expensive. I got up and left. Tried the shop across the street and they said the same thing. I had so much steam in me I couldve made the 8 hour drive to NY for the real deal!

@Lovemykinks sorry you had a bad experience. It seems just cause they don't know how to do the style, they told you anything. They're famous for that. They resemble senegelese, but the technique and hair used is entirely different.

I took a lot of picture but I don't have them all uploaded online. So here is one picture. I got them done on Friday (i took this on Saturday) I went up to NYC to get them. I like that little salon every cute, nice staff and it look no time to get these done!

Just installed my Havana Twists last night! It was my first time doing my own hair in extensions it's alot of hair but I like it 😊

Ladies.. So I went and took the 2.5 hour ride to NYC to get my havana twist... Love them.... It took all of an hour n fifteen minutes . The salon is nice staff is lovely. They cost about $140. Can't wait to start experimenting with styles... They are comfy n not tight like Senegalese twist... I recommend if you can make it to ny do it...
