I think it's just the fact that you're ALWAYS touching your hair. Much more than before u were natural. Sometimes u don't even realize you're doing it.

It's not a method, it's just a term. Its when you're playing or touching your hair all day. A lot of curlies don't touch their curls b/c it insights frizz, single strand knots and breakage. Basically, too much manipulation (or touching with your hands) can mess up your hair. Thats it in a nutshell

This thread doesn't have to be bumped actually. It is a sticky and therefore a permanent part of the forum. It'll always be displayed at the top in the General section unless it is moved/deleted. So, you'll always be able to find it.

Someone can correct me if that is incorrect.
