  • What exercise did you do today?

    I'm just curious to see how all you curly and kinky ladies stay fit on a daily basis.

    I did Tone 30 from TurboFire and 30 minutes on the treadmill.

    I go to a ladies only "bootcamp" here. Everyday at noon. There's also the option of a 430 and 530 pm class but I work at night.

    I love it, and you have a support system. And gaining weight is not an option. Weigh ins are on every Saturday morning.

    Besides bootcamp, I do water aerobics when I can, and walk/run in my neighborhood.

    My only problem is the food, lol

      I carried grocery bags up the stairs. I did step over my 8 pound weights on the way to the kitchen.

            I walked up and down 3 flights of stairs(running sometimes), carried huge bags of trash and made 11 beds(major arm work out) lol......but seriously tho.

                I did 45 mins on the elliptical and ran one mile.

                  i did intervals of wall and elevated push-ups, military presses and seated dips; so that means 3sets of each exercise up to 12 reps (or muscle failure)at 3 min per set. It may sound all technical but they're just body-weight exercises. i'm following this book You are Your Own Gym by Mark Lauren and working out at home on my own.

                          Going to "body works plus abs" class at LA Fitness in three hours.
                          Yesterday 8 miles on the stationary bike (alternating levels 3-7 on the random setting) that's my personal spin class. I can't take the seats in that room.
