Yaaay, Birthday Twin ^_^ .

That's really inspirational.

I'm coming out of my dark place and appreciating what I DO have.

She won't especially a few days before her baby shower.

She's a little self absorbed,

Even if I don't help her, I'll still have to pay the late fees :/.

Regarding phone bills, I was in the same situation. I called Verizon to extend my due date and they told me that they automatically give a 10 day grace period. My December bill was beyond late. I ended up paying them almost a week after I said I would (letting them know, of course). They didn't cut my phone off, but they cut off my internet for a week.

Have you checked on campus for jobs? What about temp agencies? They often have weekend or evening assignments.

Wutie, I also have a degree in Chemistry. Congrats to you for getting your MS! Have you looked at OnAssignment? They are a temp agency for scientists. Aerotek is a temp agency for scientists and engineers.

Good luck, ladies! It may get worse before it gets better. Stay in school and keep your faith in God. Things will work out for you.
I have checked in campus, all the had was a note taker. $8/hourly 5 hours a week.

The temp agencies aren't that great but I have checked around.

Right now I do audience work ($8-$10/hour 2-8 hours a day) but it's not enough because I don't get booked everyday.

I am and have been in your same predicament so trust me when I say if you believe you are working towards your life's purpose keep at it no matter how hard it gets. I have been in a similar situation as I try to complete my master's degree. There is NO WAY that I can work and complete this degree at the same time so I was forced to make a decision. My parents do not support me in the way that I need them too (they didn't support me in undergrad either) they do not recognize the struggle of my degree and only respect working adults. I was stressed and was going to quit school but a week after I decided not to give up a blessing came in the form of a large grant that refunded me enough money to live off of until I graduate in May. Believe me if you are operating in your purpose things will work out. Keep going girl you will make it.

I just saw that you are in Los Angeles!

Farmer John is always hiring. Just go to the plant early and you will see people waiting outside. They are in Vernon. I used to work there, and it's a great company. They are owned by Hormel now.

Teledyne Reynolds may also be hiring. They are next to Marina del Rey. They are a widget factory.

The AppleOne downtown is a great temp agency. They place all over LA County.

If I can think of anything else, I'll let you know.

If you're willing to do it, make up a resume for an administrative assistant for 3 years. Use me as a reference. I still have my 310 area code.

If you're willing to do it, I'll PM you the information (the company name, industry and my phone number).

You have enough experience to answer a friggin phone.
