Anyone that's 13-14 years old that's transistioning???

OMG hi!! Finally I found another young curly! I thought I was alone here O.o. But anyways Im 14 and although I'm well past transitioning I did have to go through it. Are there any questions you have?

I will sadly have to be transitioning for 4 years from my heat damage because my mom forbids me to cut my hair so I have to wait until I'm 18

Hey again! Aww it's not sadly! It's gladly! You've made the right choice to go natural, and what I did when I transitioned was transitioned with different braid extension styles. And each time I went to get them done over I had a bit of relaxer cut off till I was 100% natural. Idk to me it was easier(but expensive O.o) :/. Again, goodluck in highschool, and if you need any questions I'm here!

My sister is 12 , will be 13 and November and will not come on her because shes the shyest person in the world .
But good luck girls , shes about 7 months in with type 4 hair and in braids right now because i got tired of braiding her braid outs

Learning to love my 3c/4a hair for what it is each and every day. I'm in a 2 year waist length challenge, currently collarbone length. Never relaxed, but used excessive heat in the past.

I hear ya! I do sometimes wish I had cut my hair really short just to say I did it. DX But I'm not brave enough for that! One reason was because some kids, especially the ones in our age group, can be mean!! One girl(who is one of my friends) had beautiful medium length natural hair. They especially targeted her and she permed out of pressure. Fast forward to a few months ago and she had to start all over again. She b'ced recently, and boy does she look FABOLOUS!! Seriously she can pull off any length. But anyways now she's worried because school starts again next week. I tell her not to worry about it, that someday those kids will mature and accept us too!Why isolate us for embracing something that naturally grows out of our scalps? But praise us for basically torturing it with chemicals and stuff? I'm confused!!
*scratches head*
P.S.- sorry for the rant ^___^
