most people don't even expect me to date outside my race. for one thing, i'm from st pete, florida. idk if you know anything about that, but yeah....lol. for another thing, my grandma is from the south (south ga)where it's really odd to date outside your race. i've dated two white guys, talked to one guy that was like black, white, and puerto rican, i've dated a german boy, a mexican boy,and my current boyfriend is half puerto rican. i don't really care about race. i actually prefer to people who aren't completely black lol. if we click then we click. my family doesn't really care for it but they know i'm very strong-willed and i will chomp you off if i feel like you're trying to offend me. so no one really says anything to me lol. the only thing that was hard to do is explain my hair but that's hard for most guys to understand, including some black guys lol. i remember i tried to explain a sew to my ex (he was white) and he thought the tracks were sown into my head like stitches lol.

In a relationship going on 2 years with a mixed guy (black,white, samoan) who loves playing in my hair, but I like Hispanics and Blacks too. I just find that more guys who aren't black approach me and i think it has something to do with my hair, idk. My mother doesn't really care who i date but she'd prefer me to marry someone black though or at least part black. She doesn't tell me flat out (well sometimes she doesn't) but she leaves clues.

Well I'm not a teen anymore (I'm 22) so I hope you girls don't mind if I join the conversation XD all of my relationships have been interracial. My first bf in high school was Lebanese, and we were together for 7 years. My 2nd bf was Tibetan (dated for only 2 months), the guy I'm "talking to" now is Chinese...we've been talking & going on a few dates for about a month but he's not my boyfriend (yet hahaha). I've always been attracted to other races and my family accepts that. My mom is always saying "you're going to find a nice Asian husband" lol XD it's embarrassing but it's good that she accepts it...honestly even if she didn't it wouldn't stop me from dating outside of my race lol

Im gonna be 15 in feb, never dated, but all my crushes have been outside my race, I'm african and I live in a country that suffered from apartheid so me dating outside my race would be.....not an option at this point in time, but my family is very open minded (which I am soooooooo thankful for!!) So when I actualy do start dating, I just hope my friends (and the community) will be acceppting of my relationship, weather with a guy of the same complexion, or the cute Lithuanian guy I met last month at the fair
