Is it like a conditioner or a sealant. Or just a liquid? Can you buy it at the grocery store

You can get it from any pharmacy..lol I used to take it internally when I had a cough but its great for the hair. Its a clear liquid, a bit sticky.

Vegetable glycerin moisturizes my hair and makes it super soft. Vegetable glycerin also reduces breakage in natural, Afro-textured hair [Source: Moisture Issue: Glycerin is your friend - The Natural Haven].

I use vegetable glycerin in my DIY Aloe-Castor Hair Mask. Also, I use leave-in conditioners and moisturizers with vegetable glycerin in the ingredients list.

Just be careful with it. If you live in a dry climate it will take moisture from your hair instead of the air and cause your hair to be dry.
