Makes perfectly good sense to me. I am sure I will adopt that when my hair gets longer. Right now it is about 6 1/2 inches all over so I usually rinse out in the sink.

I use coconut oil and castor oil. It makes my hair so soft!

I love the SM purification masque as well. It does melt tangles, I'm still on the fence about whether it's a viable DC though. I've only used it 2x. So I'll buy another jar and try it out some more. I can get 3 treatments out of 1 jar.

Yup. That's why I do it. Usually I DC with a cocktailed VO5 conditioner, but now I think I'm going to just stick to my avocado DCs until I find a thicker one that's cone-free.

It's hard to put my finger on the the smell. It's herby and contains lemon...so it does kind of smell soapy. I only use green bottle vatika. It is hydroquinone free. I'm not strictly all natural. But when i can afford the better version and its readily available...why not? Lol

I condition/detangle, and then style and seal. I just like that extra bit of moisture.
