Thanks what's a good way I should incorporate proteins in my regimen? Should I just do conditioner or can I do a leave in also?

Search this section for "Beasty Protein DTs" to see what the curlies suggested.

I went with Nexxus Emergencee and that worked for me.

Now, each time I do a moisture shampoo and condition (Pantene Curly), I use Nexxus Emergencee.

Each time I do a protein shampoo and condition (VO-5 Strength and Repair), I use Pantene Moisture Renewal DT.

My hair feels good now.
Can you bump it for me this search engine sucks

I like ORS Hair Mayonnaise I seal it with castor oil, baggy and wrap my head in a towel. Ive had success applying to both dirty and freshly washed hair.

I have very fine & dense 4a/4b hair

Due to the fear of protein overload, I avoided protein for a looooong time (like almost a year). My hair was shedding and felt really, really soggy. I don't know..My hair just didn't feel or behave right. I was moisturizing like crazy, but it wasn't working....So I just randomly started reading about Protein and the strenthing properties and the importance of having a balance of protein and moisture ...Hey... I decided to give myself the 2 step Aphogee Protein.. I must say..My hair is back. Shedding is back to normal. My coils seem to pop more. Moisture is staying my hair now. I realize I will have to do periodic protein treatments. Since I am doing the Aphogee treaments every few months, I make sure my styling products don't have lots of protein it. In addtition, I make sure I do a reeeeealllly good deep conditing treatment after my proteing treatment. SO now..I am a believer in Protein...Well.... A balance of Protein and Moisture.

To get the moisture/protein balance I need, I usually just alternate a protein DC with a moisturizing one every other week. My leave ins, moisturizers, and stylers don't contain them though. My hair is happy and I have very little shedding/breakage.

When u over moisturized your hair what products were u using? My hair is protein sensitive and Im having a hard time finding products that don't contain protein.
