Try dividing your braids in four, using a rubber band. Try the applicator tip, if you notice it leaks out a lot of oil at once, or not an equal amount. Try using a q-tip or an eraser from the back of pencil, open the bottle up, and dab it, than apply evenly on your scalp 1-3 weekly.

It will. I have been using it for two months now. You can also check their website for more details on the oil.
