Her line's leave in conditioner is so much better then the original YouTube recipe ! I have to say I love it ! I was not expecting it to make my hair so soft and manageable ! And a little goes a long way !

1stLadyBailey ~
Thx so much for replying .... well now, your video & personable delightfulness in it was great!! Kudos ~ super job! The pull down w/additional specifics was perfect & will make my hair info hardcopy folder tomorrow. And sharing video w/others I know tonight. Wish I had some curlfriends like you in person for marathon get-togethers of curl info & hands-on help with the various textures - imagine, a living room full of wet heads, products, homemade stuff, and food. Downright hair bliss. No one in my real life circles is truly interested, willing to kearn basic science, committed and patient.

Questions -
1) I never twist or do small braids. I roller set and a couple days later do one french braid, a pretty bun, pin up my hair in various up/low sweep styles. Or, if short on time, then no set, but instead any of the above w/ damp hair after washing. Do you ever roller set? If so - results? If not, why? No one on the board really talks about setting .... don't know why. Curious to know someone's results w/ the products from roller setting.
2) Your hair seems to have a beautiful warm plum cast to it. Did you henna? I have not ventured into henna yet, but have products & info so only a matter of time before it happens.

Thanks, miss delightful!

I had a roller set done and it came out beautiful and so soft. It lasted a good 2 weeks even with the softness. All I would do is put my bonnet on at night and finger place it a little in the morning. Didn't frizz or anything. The roller set was done with smaller perm rods as I was probably considered TWA (I guess). Used Design Essentials Curl Mousse to set it. Next time I want to try a creme gel or something like Donna Marie Whip (it doesn't take a whole lot of product to set my hair on rollers).

I honestly just don't have the time, skills, or supplies for rollersetting!! BUT, it's on my 'to do' list.
YES. I henna! I did apply a golden brown permanent color prior to the henna. Which reminds me, I'm about due for a treatment!

Question

Has anyone used the detangler as a leave in? I was eye-ballin' it because of the broccoli seed oil, that cone-like property of added shine is appealing...
