i'm a new naturalista, and i see many of you use it. it's $2.99 at walgreens but before i become a PJ lol why is it so useful? i did my first twists the other day and used cantu shea butter and they turned out fine. other than it being alcohol free, why do you like it?

It gives me nice definition and hold on twist outs and whatever else. A lot of people use it for shingling wash-n-gos but those never turn out good for me. I guess the main thing is its a gel that not really bad for your hair

Yes, but that works for me because I style at night. So my curl defiition is sort of "set in stone" while I sleep. The next morning I oil my hands and scrunch the curls. That knocks the stiffness right out!

No it didnt make mine hard at all
The yellow one had a bad reaction to my hair or something and whenever I would use it it turned white and gunky but I love the green with olive oil. I hear the argan oil one is good too Sent from my SCH-R720 using CurlyNikki App |

I use the argon oil one for my hair. I only wear wash n go's with my TWA and it doesn't make my hair feel any different than when I don't use it, but it gives my twa great curl definition when I do use it, better than any cream based styler I've used.
