I trim abt every 6 months, but I base it off how often my hair is out. When I wear protective styles, I trim less than if I wear my hair out.

OK. It's good to know that I'm not the only one that goes a long time without trimming. I think that it is different on natural hair. Women that I know with relaxers go eight weeks but I don't think It's necessary for naturals. Maybe my ends aren't as bad as I think.

Forgot to tell you the Giavonni tea tree shampoo does say clarifying on it. Unused the last of my bottle last night but you also know you can use apple cider vinegar to clarify with.

OK so I washed my hair tonight using this daily cream shampoo by Hair Rules that I got at a meet up. Apparently It's for dry color treated hair so I thought that sounds like me. I also dc with my fav Aubrey Organics. I ran out of it and have been experimenting with different conditioners but I have learned that nothing tops it. After my DC I used Eden Body Works peppermint tea tree moisturizer and sealed with Moroccan oil. I am sitting under a hooded dryer now with about ten twists in my hair after using Miss Jessie's curly meringue as a styler. I made sure to dry my hair with a T-shirt (which is what I always use) so my hair wasn't sopping wet. I also combed the product through my hair because I watched this video on miss Jessie you tube channel and that is what was suggested.

We'll see How this goes. I've been having some real issues with my hair so maybe it's lacking moisture and hopefully the Aubrey organics will do the trick. I discovered that the shampoo that i usually use is a clarifying shampoo so i think that maybe my hair needs moisture. I will post pics good or bad tomorrow.

How often were you using that clarifying shampoo? I love AO but I can go through a bottle in no time lol.

I was using it almost every week. But my hair never felt dry. The description says it moisturizes and clarifies.
