If you were a regular on my last blog you may or may not have noticed that one is gone. New home, new me (not really, but yeah). I won't bore you with my "How I went Natural" story. Why? Because I don't really have one. I don't have some heartfelt story of stepping away from the "creamy crack" as I was a child when I got my first, and a child when I got my last. Never a regular thing, only for special occasions. But that's not to say I'm a vet in the natural world. My hair may be, but I'm not. I loc'd on and off for 6 years and now I'm learning about curly hair. I think that's enough blah blah for now lol. Questions? Feel free to ask. So, what am I currently doing/using? PRE-WASH (detangling) * Coconut Oil * Shea Moisture Purification Mask CLEANSER * Bobeam Shampoo Bars * ACV Rinse CONDITIONER * Nature's Gate Hemp Nourishing Conditioner * Nature's Gate Henna Conditioner Shine Enhancing LEAVE-IN * Aloe Leave-in [2pt water, 1pt AVJ] * Africa's Best Herbal Oil -- scalp only DEEP CONDITIONER * Shea Moisture Organic Yucca & Baobab Anti-Breakage Masque * Hair Smoothie [pending homemade recipe] STYLERS * Shea Butter Smoothie [recipe via Heyfranhey] * Flax Seed Gel Washing once a week, DCing bi-weekly, moisturizing twice a day. That's about it.

Hey old friends!
Hair thought of the day: Scalp has been a tad bit on the trippy side as late despite prolonged rubba dubbin' and scrubbin' plus ACV rinses. I had this issue before but I don't remember how I resolved it (side eye to self). I'm actually thinking of not repurchasing the Shea Moisture and giving Kinky Curly a try. I'm limiting myself to 1-2 semi-expensive products as long as it's all natural. I want to try the Come Clean and Knot Today. The SM Anti-Breakage Masque is quite awesome but I think I can get away with homemade DCs.
