Amen to that. Lol. Through all my changes in regimens, TRESemme has been a mainstay. Do you like it?

Yes, so far! I love how the ingredients are so good, and I can get a large bottle for like 4 bucks. I have soo much hair and I feel bad always making my dad buy me more products at least every week....so TN is refreshing. Good ingredients are hard to find in the first place....but that cheap is unheard of. I used it as a leave in and it was super slippy, defining, and moisturizing. I haven't used the product enough to call it holy grail, but it is definitely possible. I'm wondering if I could use this as a curl refresher between washes. Ik it is thick for a refresher, but my hair doesn't get weighed down. In fact, it needs it sometimes.

That's why I've gotten back to making my own stuff. The only store bought items I'm using is Nature's gate conditioners (about $3-$4 for 18oz from Vitacost) and Africa's Best Herbal Oil ($2 at Target). Both have great ingredients.

Nature's gate? I will have to look into that. It would be fun to make my own products...but I don't have enough time. Maybe during the next break I could attempt. As of right now my parents seem fine with buying products, but I just hate how every product I buy lasts a month max and is usually around $10 bucks.

@livelaughlove really? Haha I'm still so nervous to try it. I just don't understand the whole hold thing when it comes to gel. What exactly does that mean? Like what in particular is it holding? I want my hair to bounce...that is one of the best parts of wearing my hair down...that is why I always look for creme definers/moisturizers hahaha.
@chelley!! Girl ikr she's an amazing artist! The funny thing is, she is a professional handmade jeweler. She just makes me fascinators as fun little projects. She obviously makes them for me for free, but they would be crazy experience if she were to sell them.

Yes it is always great for your hair to have bounce. My hair is short so no bounce happenning there lol. I am still looking fo a great cream styler.

Ohh, that makes sense! When did you BC? Try the curls creme brule as your creme styler

Will be cowashing tomorrow. Here are my latest products. BTW, I think I am done with my formerly beloved Shea Moisture...but I'll do a post about that later.
Cowash: Yes To Carrots Conditioner
Leave in: Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture
Sealer: Grapeseed Oil
Styler: CURLS creme brule & control paste

You really only need a good 10-20min. I have a super hectic schedule so I just set aside a certain time to do it. Shea butter mixes will last a pretty long time (months). I make flax seed gel which only lasts about 2-3 weeks but it only takes about 5min to make. Some curlies have found flax seeds at the dollar store. For my leave in, right now I'm just using AVJ mixed with an oil in a spray bottle.

Had to buy more tresemme naturals and curls creme brule. Well I didn't have to buy the TN but I figured I didn't wanna get too low. Smh
