Shouldn't if you use a loose one. You could also try multiple pineapples and your bonnet.

Sooooooooo, the one thing I didn't account for with my WnG is my products not playing well together. Rookie mistake. Smh! Yeah while my hair was still intact this morning I took my pjs off to jump in the shower and I thought it was snowing. Le sigh! All that sleeping gently for nothing. I'm sure it was the cheapie gel from my local bss that was the culprit because it was the only thing I hadn't used before. It probably didn't play well with the fsg. I'm not giving up though. I will try it again but on the weekend! Lol! Luckily I had time for damage control this morning. I had to wash really quick this morning, throw in some twists and a beanie. So what products do y'all suggest for next time? And it was crunchy but I was okay with that since it looked so nice. But anything I can use to prevent the crunch? I'm sure I will have to do some research to find something CG friendly. Well here is my hair, my face says it all. Smh

May have actually been the fsg. I that CC's flaked something terrible on me. Haven't used it since. I like homemade fsg, and Eco Styler, and avg for wngs. Some people also use creams instead of gels. My first success wng was done with oyin hair dew and bsp.

Aaw Tash, sorry it was a no go! I had to laugh at that face tho. Maybe you went too heavy on the cc's. I normally do my wngs w/a li,a cream, an oil (sometimes), and then a gel on top for hold. What gels do you have besides the cc's and the bss one? The wng I am rocking now I used cream brulee and pattern pusha.

I was thinking it could be the fsg after too. So your homemade fsg doesn't flake? It was the main thing that helped my curls pop and gave me great slip on top of the Obi cream. But my hair needs the weight and hold of a gel so creams alone would probably be a no go for me. Lol

I don't know any cheap ones that would work w/your CG method. The homemade would prob be best. I've had good luck with that. I didn't get flaking w/the cc's but I didn't go real heavy on it either since Nae said it would create a lot of crunch. What li did you use again? My suggestion would be a creamy li, butter (cream brulee my choice), and try the cc's again but go light on it. I'm gonna try my next wng w/this combo and see what I get. I may cowash tonight to test for you.
