Default MoBeautie"The Selfish Natural"

Hey Ladies, there's a new neighbor on Wisteria Lane! So i've been on these forums for a while now and have finally decided to start my own blog. With a little nudging from my curlfriends, i decided to move in. Now I've read a few blogs and most of you have a great reason and wonderful story for taking this journey. I myself do not, sorry. I'm gonna keep it real with yall. I became a natural for purely selfish reasons, hence the name of my blog. The reason being my stylist took a job in Afghanistan for a year and I did not want to search for a raplacement. Now yall know how we are with our stylist, it's a special bond. Once you find the one who knows just how you like your hair without you even telling her, you never want to let her/him go. If for some reason you have to, it's devastating like your first puppy love break up. I mean she was perfect she tapered my hair right, kept my hair healthy, and always had me walking out looking fly... never once did i have to go home and rework a style. When she left I was wearing my hair in a Halle Berry pixie cut. I didn't want to risk a bad hair cut and the trial and error of finding a new stylist so I decided to let my hair just do it's thing. Since my hair was already so short and kept it's wave/curl pattern even after getting relaxers it wasn't a far stretch. I figured I would just do it for that year and when she came back I would start getting my hair done again. I learned alot about my hair in that year and had some great growth as well, but i'm not gonna lie I missed my pixie. Well guess what yall after that 1st year, she signed another contract. That overseas guap is GOOD, I wasn't mad at her. I said this must be a sign so here I am almost 2 1/2 years later, 2 trims, 3 home hair cuts and 1 deva cut later. How yall doin? I'll add some pics later.

Awwww snap *goes to actually read now*

EDIT:

Ok, I'd say that's a good reason if you had gotten so used to it. Plus it came with a benefit. Learned a lot about your hair and it's looking awesome.
