The Long Kiss...
Welcome to the adventures of me and Charlie (from the long Kiss goodnight)...She was gangsta...what can I say.
So I've stalked the Curly Hair Blogs for like ever, and I've wanted to join but I didn't think I'd have enough to say. But I realized that when other friends don't want to hear my hair stories and trials, and when my mom says "Oh, you're on Knots and Tangles again" (referring to CN), I can come here and share..LOL! So here goes day 1! I LOVE Henna!!! ALOT!!! I LOVE the color. I took this picture the other day when I happened to notice the sun highlighting the color in my hair as I waited in the car for my mom to come out of Pier 1...After Walmart, Pier 1 and Best Buy are her favorite places! Anyway, I wish the camera would have picked up the color some more, but the color is the main reason why I LOVE henna so much...I do credit my thickness and growth to henna too, but the color part is more fun! Someone has to tell me how to put a pic in the body of the post instead of as an attachment...PLEASE  Till next time... Mel

Here's my hair today! I just took down a chunky twist set...Day 2 is much better than day 1, so I can't wait until tomorrow
I have so much to say any other time, but not here...Let me start thinking of some clever things to write about. Maybe I'll be abducted by aliens on my way to church...that'll be a GREAT story... Later

Hey Mel girl!!! Is your color like a reddish brown in the first pic with the sun highlighting it? If so I like it but then the other one it looks really dark probably because of lack of lighting!! Abducted by aliens on the way to church...Lol your funny!!

Well, I wasn't abducted by aliens on the way to church, but I will have a story for "take it to church" in the non-hair forums. Lol! @Luscious- my hair in that pic is closer to like cherry-cola (why do black people talk about black hair colors in Jazzing colors or numbers?) Lol! But you are right in regular light it appears black. Can you ladies notice the henna in your hair in regular light?
