Hey ladies! Hope you'll are enjoying the last bit of the weekend. I had to start hair Spa Sunday a little early because I had some running around to do today. So yesterday I Pre poo'd w/ Vatica oil left that on for a few hrs and then washed w/ Pantene R&N. I really like Pantene shampoo I've been using them for years and I've never been a fan of shampoo, I Cowashed before I was natural by accident one day when I was about 16, I've been diluting my shampoos w/ condish since that day. I never did this w/ Pantene tho it never leaves my hair feeling stripped. Guess I should make it HG, but I really want just one HG shampoo and I do love Elucence. #PJproblems anywho after I shampoo'd I DC'd with Alikay Naturals Avocado mask. I received a sample in Curlkit or Curlbox it was a little under 2oz so I had to add a little Wen I also added some herbs and EVOO

I left the DC in overnight because I'm lazy and I was probably tipsy (don't judge me drinking is what I do Thurs-Sun) rinsed and detangled w/ Wen Sweet Almond Mint. Surprisingly rinsing was not as bad as the first time I used the herbs not sure why. *shrugs* I did my regular AVJ/AVG rinse and used KCKT as my leave in detangled (again) and sectioned. Then I just stared at myself in the mirror thinking, now what? Because I had shit to do I decided to do a wng smh bad decision.

I think I need to wait till my hair is damn near bsl to get a decent wng. I can't believe this shrinkage! Not only is there shrinkage my hair takes on this weird as awkward shape, no bueno! Too add to all that it's crunchy ass hell. Why? IDK I used my trusty Eco custard. I can say the definition is on point tho just too damn tight. I went to see my grandma and I think she thought I'd cut my hair. Her eyes got so big then she stretched one of the coils and said "oh it's long." then she said "but it feels funny" lol. Hopefully it will look better tomorrow, I don't have time to start over so I'll be rockin this look till Wednesday maybe Thursday.

Randi! U and ur hair are so in sync with me and mines. I was talking to my friend the other day and we were talking about y we stopped using things that worked. Pantene Relaxed & Natural shampoo and conditioner were great for me and I thought about repurchasing when I first went natural but got caught up in the hype. That's right girl, talk me down off of the expensive stuff. I appreciate it! I'm rlly re-evaluating my products.

Talk about caught up in the hype you should see the BF list I had. I'll probably continue to use Wen (I just remembered it's sold at Sephora) but I'm cutting out almost all stylers, I'll occasionally order from Oyin, Coco Curls, and Afroveda and that's it. I won't be trying any new products so no more BF list. I've finally figured out what my hair likes so why bother with new stuff. It ain't broke....

Randi I have never seen shrinkage like that! WOW! It's a curse and blessing. But it did look cute I was thinking is it a TO its NICE. Def looks good. But Randi has a MA-Medium afro! You can trick so many folks like that! That's the best part!

That shrinkage is out of this world! But I agree it's cute

It may be shrunken but it's awesome because this is day 3 yaaay. I just sprayed some water on it shook and curls (teeny tiny coils) sprang into action. go me go me go me *does the wop*
