What kind of twists do you do (rope twists or regular two strand twists)? How soon did you start using butters on your hair? I just feel like I should wait to use butters on mine until it grows out a little longer. Do you or did you take any vitamins/supplements to help with hair growth?

I do regular two strand twist. I started using Shea butter right away. I've been wearing two strand twist since I big chopped.

I was taking a multivitamin but it wasn't for hair but a suggestion by my doctor. She believes all women over 30 should take a multivitamin.

LOL! This is Hubby's work iPad. My computer is still sick so this is my temporary replacement. He knew I would go crazy depending on my phone for all my Internet needs.

I can start helping you out again too.

This is my first summer alll natural. From my readings, you can use glycerin in the summer. What should I mix it with? Also, do you know if you mix aloe vera juice with your spritz solutions do you have to keep the spritz in the refrigerator? thanks.

I'm SO sorry for the late response. My laptop was very sick but it is back up and running now. If you add glycerin to your homemade spritz, you only need a little bit. If you use too much, it will make your hair sticky. When I add aloe vera juice/gel to my mix, I do it in a big bottle and store it in the refrigerator. I keep a smaller bottle of the mixture in the bathroom.

I hope this makes sense and helps you out.

I'm SO sorry for the late response. My laptop was sick.

Whenever I blow dry my hair, I always do it when my hair is dry. Meaning I only use the blow dryer to stretch my hair vs using it to dry my hair.

If I am gonna blow it out to trim my ends, I use a heat protectant before blowing it out. I make sure my hair is detangled before I blow it out. I also do it small sections.

Lately I have been using the tension method (there are a lot of videos on YT showing this method). I find using this method, you don't have to use as much heat.

I hope I answered your question. If not, let me know.
