Re: Ask Traci
My questions:
1. How are you using the Curl Creme, and how much are you using?
2. How many twists are you doing for you TnC?
3. More details about BABOH?! I want to see it from the back and side...it looks like a dope bun!

Re: Ask Traci
I absolutely love your hair Traci! How can I help but to be a PJ in this environment? I can't fight it... I'm stopping by the Walgreens today to pick up some Sammy's curl cream. Then I will go home and put in on top of the pile of other products under my sink. I luv it! I'm standing by to see your answers to CN's questions. They were on my list also.
OAN - can someone tell me how you get the picture to show up when you post. Yes, I am technologically challenged. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I just can get that little happy face on the screen.

I second Nikki's questions about the BABOH. I have really thick hair and it's hard for me to pull back. I'd love to try this!

Re: Ask Traci
Thanks y'all!
I'm not sure about my hair type - I never quite figured out all the 1s 2s 3s, and As, Bs, and Cs. Still looking for a hair twin to steal techniques from, so holla if you're out there!
1. How are you using the Curl Creme, and how much are you using?
I use it to moisturize whatever set I happen to be doing at the moment. My hair's gotten so thick since I've been using henna that I have to tackle it one side at a time. A little bit of the curl creme goes a long way so I use maybe about a half dollar's size in my palm for each side, then get ta twistin!
2. How many twists are you doing for you TnC?
I probably do about 7 per side, I think? I just realized that I've never actually counted. I try not to make them too chunky because I have a serious dry time issue - I end up putting it up a lot of mornings because it's still damp and sets just turn into a giant mass of frizz. Hoping my new Belson dryer will remedy that problem very soon!
3. More details about BABOH?! I want to see it from the back and side...it looks like a dope bun!
Lemme look and see if I can find some pics from another angle. If I can't find any I'll take some and send along soon.
But once you've put the two clips in, you pretty much end up with a puff of sorts. My puff always looks crazy though, hence the pinning it into a bun.

OMG, I want to be your friend! LOL. Your personality just poured through the screen as I was reading your post. You and your hair are gorgeous; I will have to look into the BABOH, although mine will be a LABOH for now since my hair isn't past my shoulders [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] .

I know you said you live in Brooklyn, NY. I frequent there on the weekends. Have you been to any natural hair salons there?
I remember going to one years ago in Clinton Hills. But I did not like it (forgot the name).
